OUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FLOATING

Floatation is a remarkably simple and organic activity. Here are a few pointers to help you get the most out of your experience:
● For the best experience, we recommend floating nude. However, you are welcome to wear a swimsuit if preferred—please bring a bag for it afterward.
● We provide everything you need, including towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Hairdryers and straighteners are available in our Pamper Room. However, feel free to bring any personal toiletries, such as moisturiser or makeup.
● Avoid caffeine or other stimulants before floating.
● Try to eat lightly before your session—avoid being too full or too hungry—and limit excessive water intake beforehand.
● Salt can sting sensitive skin, so avoid shaving right before floating. Barrier cream is available for minor cuts. Floating is not advised if you have haemorrhoids.
● If you are menstruating, please use appropriate sanitary protection.
● If you suffer from severe motion sickness, floating may trigger similar symptoms. Consider taking motion sickness medication if required.
● If you have diabetes, be aware that floating can lower cortisol levels, potentially affecting blood sugar.
● Floating may reduce blood pressure, so if you already have low blood pressure, take care when exiting the pod. Sit up and pause before standing.
● Floatation Pods have a non-slip base, but salt residue can be slippery. Please move carefully in the pods and pod rooms.
● If you have recently dyed your hair, wait two weeks before floating (or 30 days for red shades). The water must run clear when washing your hair at home before you float. A swimming cap will not prevent dye from leaking into the pod.
● Everyone’s float experience is unique and may take multiple sessions to fully appreciate. Please approach your session with an open mind.
