Just had a great time at my first float. Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and explained the process well. The massage chair is a good way to start the relaxation process. The pods themselves are bigger than I expected. The water is lovely and warm and you are able to change the light colours or turn them off completely. I’m pretty sure I fell asleep during the session and feel completely relaxed now. The salty water has also made my skin feel really soft. The premises are finished to a high standard and provide everything needed post floating (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and ghd’s). The fruit tea and sorbet afterwards is a nice finishing touch. Would definitely go again!

As a 6’4″, 18 and a half stone (+), bearded former rugby player I was a little bit reticent before I arrived for my first float. Would the float pod be long enough? Yes, very much so and in fact I laid out with my arms above my head without touching the end. Would a man of my ‘modest’ stature actually float? Yes again, in fact the feeling of weightlessness was instant upon laying out in the water. The whole experience was relaxing from the moment I walked through the door, from taking my shoes off and walking on the soft carpet, the music, the massage chair (wow!), the float itself (more on that in a few lines time) to the organic tea and sorbet at the end. If I could choose one word to some up my experience, I would say lovely. As for the float itself, it’s difficult to describe without experiencing it. The sensation of weightlessness is extremely relaxing to the extent that old injuries, aches and pains all vanished when I was in there.
